Notes / Further information
The sample of the type material was found by F. Schlegel in 1988. The mineral was named after the mineral collector Fritz Schlegel (1938 - 2012) from Schneeberg-Neustädtel, Germany. Fritz Schlegel discovered also further new minerals described in recent years like brendelite, cobaltlotharmeyerite, nickellotharmeyerite, schneebergite, nickelschneebergite, neustädtelite and cobaltneustädtelite. |
